What we accept
-
Clean, dry polycarbonate sheet offcuts, kept apart from other plastics.
-
No acrylic, loose film, metal inserts or general workshop scraps.
-
Offcuts in bags or sheets stacked on a stable pallet, labelled with grade and quantity.
-
Coloured or coated sheet is checked separately. Wet, dirty or unknown material needs checking first.
-
No minimum.
Check it is polycarbonate
Fabricators collect strips, cut-outs and damaged blanks from guards, screens and covers. Clear sheet alone doesn't tell you the plastic. Acrylic and polycarbonate often sit side by side, so keep the original sheet labels with the batch.
If you are comparing polycarbonate recycling Australia options, start with the grade and form. Tell us about colour, coatings, printing and any backing layer.
How to pack it
Stack large pieces flat on a pallet so edges don't hang over. Bag small pieces separately. Tell us the longest piece, the stack height and whether pieces are flat or curved.
Keep dust, sweepings and metal fixings out. If film is still on, show it in the photos and wait for our instructions. Label plain sheet apart from coated or uncertain sheet.
Arrange the collection
Collection across metropolitan Melbourne, with delivery to our yard available by arrangement for business loads.
See our engineering plastics service for how collection works. Email your suburb, pallet count and forklift access. Don't send coated or unknown sheet before we have checked it.
Read the page for nylon, and use the A to Z list to keep each plastic separate. Tell us what you've got, with any grade details you have.
