Privacy

When you enquire, we collect your company, business email, phone number, site suburb and your description of the material. Your role, the material type, the approximate volume and a photo are optional. The form also records the page you sent it from.

We also keep the emails, messages, call notes, quotes and job records that follow your enquiry. Send only what we need to understand the job, and leave people and private documents out of photos.

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry, quote and arrange the job
• follow up on your enquiry and any quote we send
• keep records of the job and what happened to the material
• tell you about related services that may suit your business
• improve our website and how we handle enquiries

By sending an enquiry, you agree that we can contact you by email, phone or SMS about your enquiry and our related services. Every marketing email or SMS we send identifies Crex Group and includes a simple way to opt out, such as an unsubscribe link or replying STOP. We act on opt-out requests promptly, as the Spam Act 2003 requires.

Opting out of marketing doesn't stop messages about a job you've asked us to do.

We use artificial intelligence and automation tools, including services run by third parties, to help us sort and summarise enquiries, draft replies, schedule follow-ups and keep records. Some emails, SMS messages and reminders may be prepared or sent with the help of these tools.

A person at Crex Group is responsible for every enquiry, and we don't use automated tools to make decisions that significantly affect you without human review. You can ask to deal with a person at any time.

We share your information only as needed to run the business:

• service providers that host and protect our website, deliver our email and SMS, store our records, run our customer relationship tools and provide the AI tools described above
• transport and processing partners, with the details needed to carry out your job
• related businesses within Crex Group, where they handle part of your job
• anyone we are required to tell by law

We don't sell your personal information.

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and Japan. We choose established providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information.

We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how people use this website: which pages are visited, how visitors move between them and where the site could be clearer. PostHog can also record session replays. Everything typed into the enquiry form is masked in those recordings, so we never see it there.

When you send an enquiry, we link it to your earlier visits in PostHog so we can see how you found us and what you read. Google Analytics never receives your name, email, phone number or company.

These tools set cookies and only start once you scroll, tap or click. We don't sell any information. The enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it while it's needed for the job, our records and the law, and then delete or de-identify it.

Email enquiries@crexgroup.com.au to ask what we hold, ask for a correction, opt out of marketing or raise a privacy concern. Tell us which enquiry or job it relates to. We may need to confirm who you are before we share or change anything.
