Chemical waste disposal starts with your safety data sheets.
The problem
Old reagents, off-spec batches, expired cleaning chemicals and part-used resins sit in the store because your general waste contractor won't take them.

What Crex does
-
Send the safety data sheets. Include quantities, container types and where they are kept.
-
We line up the carrier. A licensed carrier and facility for each type of chemical.
-
Collect from your site. A licensed carrier packs it, labels it and takes it straight to the facility.

What we take
What we handle
Chemical waste disposal: what we take
Business chemicals with a known identity and a safety data sheet. Unlabelled containers are checked separately. The collection preparation guide covers labelling and packing.
-
Lab chemicals and reagents.
-
Expired, off-spec or discontinued process chemicals.
-
Cleaning, water treatment and pool chemicals.
-
Resins, adhesives and coatings, and the empty 200 L drums that held them.
-
Dangerous goods held as obsolete stock.
-
X-ray fixer and developer from X-ray film clear-outs.
Gas cylinders, aerosols, paint and fire extinguishers go directly to Transnitro, part of Crex Group.
What we don't handle
Explosives, radioactive material, clinical and biological waste, pharmaceuticals, asbestos, oily waste and contaminated soil. Dangerous goods never come to our yard.
Two ways to run it
One-off clear-out
One collection for a lab move or a store clear-out.
Scheduled
Repeat collections for sites that produce the same chemicals regularly.
