What we accept

  • Metal items from an equipment retirement, with the owner's sign-off.

  • Attached plastics, electrical parts and containers listed separately.

  • Small pieces in a bin or stillage, with sharp edges covered.

  • Tell us about liquids, contamination or unknown contents.

  • Single units up to pallet and stillage lots. Fixed plant and plant-scale machinery are not handled.

  • No minimum. The metal is quoted with the wider job.

List what you have

Mixed metal clearance can include brackets, fixtures, old cabinets and loose parts. Group them by type and note anything still fixed to a wall, floor or machine.

Describe the whole object, not just the metal. A cabinet can hold batteries or electronics, and a sealed tank may still hold liquid.

Who signs off

Confirm who owns the items and who can approve their removal. Landlord fixtures and leased equipment need a decision first. Keep anything staying on site out of the collection area.

Any electrical or structural work is agreed in advance. A crew collecting loose items is not booked to remove fixed equipment.

How to pack it

Put small pieces in a bin or stillage and keep sharp edges off walkways. Don't crush or cut items you can't identify.

Send wide photos of the area and the route to the truck, plus close-ups of awkward items. A count of containers helps more than "one pile".

Arrange the collection

Collection across metropolitan Melbourne, with delivery to our yard available by arrangement for business loads.

Metal comes through our equipment retirement service, collected with the rest of the job.
